The average number of eggs in the streamside incubators was 7,200 eggs per incubator. If streamside incubation were to be used as an alternate incubation strategy for a watershed or large river, a greater number of eggs would be needed per incubator. If the entire incubator was used it could potentially incubate 100,000 eggs. It would be beneficial to investigate the potential of streamside incubators to incubate greater numbers of eggs. 3, record 2, English, - stream%2Dside%20incubator

5, record 3, French, - barri%C3%A8re%20de%20diffusion

Process used in fermentation and anaerobic digestion in which the cells are removed from the product or effluent stream and recycled into the reactor, which is run in a continuous, cascade or batch mode. The technique is of value when the cells are being used to produce a secondary product or to treat effluents where :(1) cell growth is not required;(2) the growth of cells causes diversion of substrate into unwanted biomass;(3) the rate of cell production or growth, or cell concentration is a rate-limiting step. 1, record 4, English, - cell%20recycle

1, record 4, French, - recyclage%20des%20cellules
