Recent studies have shown that the CD4 molecule does indeed have a weak affinity for MHC class II molecules. These observations support the idea that antigen recognition by T cells involves the formation of a complex of T cell antigen receptor and CD4 or CD8 on the T cell which recognizes antigen plus MHC on another cell. 1, record 1, English, - CD4%20molecule
