USA [United States of America] overpowered by England. The USA closed out their World Cup warm-up tour with a 52-14 defeat to England at Sandy Park on Saturday. A superior kicking game and the strength of the Red Roses forwards proved too much in a one-sided first half, but the Eagles restored some confidence with a committed second half showing. 3, record 1, English, - kicking%20game

Placekicking is the phase of the kicking game that you’ll use when your team attempts to score a point after touchdown(PAT) or kicking a field goal; your team will attempt a field goal if the drive has been stopped and the team is close enough to the opponent's goal line.... During this phase of the kicking game, three players use special techniques : the kicker(who makes the kick), the holder(who catches the ball from the center and places it on the tee), and the center,(also known as the short snapper(who centers the ball back to the holder). 4, record 1, English, - kicking%20game

In route or drag pattern. Often today, an in route is called a drag pattern. This play requires the receiver to run a couple of steps downfield, then turn and run parallel to the line of scrimmage towards the center of the field. The drag pattern is used in the West Coast offense a lot, allowing receivers to catch the ball safely and then run after the catch. Speedy receivers who don’t mind running through linebacker territory also run in-routes. 3, record 2, English, - in%20pattern

Indicateur de virage et d'inclinaison latérale. [...] 3, record 5, French, - indicateur%20de%20virage

In general, any player whose assigned position is the left or right instead of the center. Pure "wingers" aren’t used today as much as they used to be. "Wingers" used to be the wide forwards or midfielders (who were sometimes called "withdrawn wingers"). Wing midfielders are sometimes called "winghalfs" or "wingmids" & wing fullbacks are "wingbacks." Today, it is more common to use wingmids or wingbacks to come up to cross the ball than to have wing forwards. "Wingers" who bring the ball up the side are often very fast and excellent dribblers. 7, record 6, English, - wing%20player

The inclinometer in both the turn and slip indicator [older aircraft] and the turn coordinator [modern aircraft] measures the turn quality.... when in a turn, part of the lift of the wing goes into "turning" the aircraft, this is called the horizontal component of lift(HCL). This HCL is directed toward the center of the turn. Also, a force directed outward and away from the center of the turn exists. This is called centrifugal force(CF). For the turn to be coordinated these two opposing forces must be equal. equilibrium : state of balance. When a body or a system is in equilibrium, there is no net tendency to change. In mechanics, equilibrium has to do with the forces acting on a body.... However, a state of equilibrium does not mean that no forces act on the body, but only that the forces are balanced.... The stability of a body is a measure of its ability to return to a position of equilibrium after being disturbed. It depends on the shape of the body and the location of its center of gravity... A body with a large flat base and a low center of gravity will be very stable, returning quickly to its position of equilibrium after being tipped. However, a body with a small base and high center of gravity will tend to topple if tipped and is thus less stable than the first body. A body balanced precariously on a point is in unstable equilibrium. Some bodies, such as a ball or a cone lying on its side, do not return to their original position of equilibrium when pushed, assuming instead a new position of equilibrium; these are said to be in neutral equilibrium. 1, record 15, English, - neutral%20equilibrium

The fast break, or free-lance, style is a helter-skelter type of offense. The ball is grabbed by the center as it rebounds off the backboard, and he passes it to one of his guards or forwards as quickly as possible. The idea is to give the opposition little or no time to regroup and set its defense. As a result, the fast-breaking team may have as many as three or four players going against two defenders.
