In July 1992, the Canadian Forces Leadership Academy(CFLA) and CFLS [Canadian Forces Language School] Borden amalgamated to form the Canadian Forces Academy of Leadership and Languages(CFALL), and in September of that year, CFALL moved to new premises vacated by the Base Borden Collegiate Institute. In February 1995, the Canadian Forces Leadership and Specialized Training Center(CFLSTC) came into being with the amalgamation of the Canadian Forces School of Physical Education and Recreation(CFSPER), the Canadian Forces Training Development Center(CFTDC) and CFALL.

En février 1995, le Centre de leadership et de formation spécialisée des Forces canadiennes [(CLFSFC)] a vu le jour à la suite de la fusion de l'École d'éducation physique et de loisirs des Forces canadiennes [(EEPLFC)], du Centre de développement de l'instruction des Forces canadiennes [(CDIFC)] et de l'École des langues et du leadership des Forces canadiennes (ELLFC).
