The net-bearer bond, or jalandhara bandha, is considered a very important bond for breath retention in yoga. It is believed to stop prana, or life force, from basically leaking out of the upper body. By blocking this area, the prana can move energy through the spine and rid the area of unwanted or unneeded stuff, for lack of a better word. When this bandha is released, all the energy that was held in this area will rush to the head, sparking your creativity and mental power. 6, record 1, English, - chin%20lock
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Jalandhara bandha engages and tones the neck muscles and also activates and energizes the 5th chakra center. Jalandhara bandha should be practiced individually at first, and then it can be incorporated with the other bandhas [locks], asanas [postures], pranayamas [breath control techniques] and eventually mudras [symbolic gestures]. 7, record 1, English, - chin%20lock

Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT
5, record 1, French, - contraction%20de%20la%20gorge
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 3 CONT

The angle formed by a line drawn through the center of the long axis of the neck of the femur meeting a line drawn in the transverse axis of the condyles, when the bone is viewed from above, looking straight down through the head of the femur; used to illustrate the normal degree of anteversion about 12 of the neck of the femur, which may be increased or decreased in some diseases. 1, record 2, English, - angle%20of%20anteversion

NOTE Several methods can be used to measure this angle e.g., Dunlap method, Magilligan method, Thazos method, Budin-Chandler method. Nowadays, this measurement is more easily obtained by computerized tomography. 2, record 2, English, - angle%20of%20anteversion

2, record 2, French, - angle%20d%27ant%C3%A9version%20du%20col%20f%C3%A9moral

The introduction point must be as far posterior as possible, in the plane of the anterior border of the femoral neck to promote declivitous downward. It allows for pus evacuation, confirmation of the diagnosis and bacteriological samples to be taken. The lavage is done using ionized polyvidone dilution in physiological saline solution. A thin opaque line in the femoral neck that on the anteroposterior view extends laterally from the inferior border of the neck for a variable distance, frequently reaching the superior border. The line is usually curved, sagging at its center; occasionally, it is almost straight. The sagging rope sign is most commonly seen as a residual after severe Perthes disease.
