Central serous retinopathy(CSR) is a pathologic condition characterized by swelling and elevation of retinal tissue near the macula due to accumulation of fluid between the photoreceptor outer segments and the retinal pigment epithelium(RPE), often leading to detachment of the neurosensory retina. Also sometimes called central serous chorioretinopathy, the condition most often affects men 20 to 60 years of age, but it can also affect women. The disease is often unilateral and is self-limiting in about 60% of cases, but sometimes the retinal detachment persists, leading to damage to the RPE and the photoreceptors and resulting in vision loss. 3, record 4, English, - central%20serous%20chorioretinopathy

Information was collected on the numbers of collections, diversity, availability, funding and methods of preservation used. Three types of collections emerged. A few collections were large in terms of taxa and isolates held. Others contained few species[, ] but represented important national or international collections of characterized strains. Most of these collections received institutional support for facilities and operations. Those remaining could be characterized as working collections of individual researchers. These were maintained with program budgets or from academic research grants. 2, record 15, English, - Directory%20of%20Canadian%20Culture%20Collections

2, record 15, French, - Annuaire%20des%20collections%20de%20cultures%20de%20micro%2Dorganismes%20au%20Canada

Conversation analysis is characterized by the view that how talk is produced, and how the meanings of talk are determined, are the practical, social and interactional accomplishments of members of a culture. Talk is not seen simply as the product of two "speaker-hearers" who attempt to exchange information or convey messages to each other. Rather, participants in conversation are seen as mutually orienting to, and collaborating in order to achieve, orderly and meaningful communication. At least in part, the aim of CA is thus to reveal the organized reasoning procedures which inform the production of naturally occurring talk. 2, record 17, English, - conversation%20analysis

The motion of free-floating space robots is characterized by non-holonomic constraints, i. e., non-integrable rate constraint equations. These constraints originate from the principles of conservation of angular momentum. It is well known that these rate constraints can also be written to form an input-affine drift-less control system. Trajectory planning of these systems is extremely challenging and computation intensive since the motion must satisfy differential constraints. Under certain conditions, these drift-less control systems can be shown to be differentially flat. 1, record 32, English, - free%2Dfloating%20space%20robot

To date, most of the research on the control of space robots has centered on "free-floating" robots. Free-floating robots are defined as space robots where the satellite base position and orientation are unactuated. Without base actuation, no external forces or torques act upon the system when the end-effector is not in contact with the work environment. The linear and angular momenta of the system are conserved, so the spacecraft base moves in reaction to commanded arm motion. 2, record 32, English, - free%2Dfloating%20space%20robot

FOPO is an anticipatory mechanism that involves psychological, physiological, and physical activation to avoid rejection. It is also characterized by a hypervigilant social readiness and a relentless scanning of the environment in search of approval. In overvaluing what others might be thinking, we become highly attuned to signals—body language, microexpressions, words, silence, actions, and inactions—of potential rejection. FOPO is an exhaustive attempt to interpret what others are thinking in an effort to preempt a negative evaluation by them. It is not the actual negative opinion that is so problematic—it's the fear of it. Though FOPO does not meet the criteria for clinical diagnosis, it creates significant distress. 2, record 65, English, - fear%20of%20people%27s%20opinions

2, record 71, French, - ob%C3%A9sit%C3%A9%20sarcop%C3%A9nique

Auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder(ANSD) is a hearing disorder characterized by a disruption in the transmission of sound signals from the inner ear to the brain. This results in difficulty understanding speech and perceiving sounds, despite having normal or near-normal hearing sensitivity. ANSD can be caused by various factors, including genetic mutations, premature birth, or exposure to certain medications or infections. 3, record 98, English, - auditory%20neuropathy%20spectrum%20disorder
