Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 DEF
A graphical profile that exhibits ram resistance with depth. 5, record 1, English, - ram%20profile
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The ram profile is a record of a hardness index through a vertical section of the snowpack. The ram hardness(R) is measured by driving a ram penetrometer(ram or ramsonde) vertically into the snowpack. The ram is a tube or rod with a centimeter scale for depth and a standard cone-shaped tip. The operator drops a hammer(H) a certain distance(f) and records the penetration depth(p) of the ram into the snow. 6, record 1, English, - ram%20profile
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT
The ram profile highlighted a deep weak layer. [Example approved by the Avalanche Bulletin Terminology Standardization Committee.] 3, record 1, English, - ram%20profile
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The ram resistance is an index of the relative hardness of snow as measured by a rammesonde. 5, record 1, English, - ram%20profile

High pressure, gun-type burners consist of a motor, oil pump(with integral or separate pressure regulating and shut-off valve), strainer, fan, ignition transformer, nozzle and electrode assembly.... The motor-driven pump draws oil from the supply tank and delivers it to the nozzle at pressures of from 100 to 300 psi. The nozzle atomizes the oil into fine particles and swirls it into the combustion chamber as a cone-shaped spray where it mixes with air [moving down the blast gun tube] and is ignited. [By an electric spark]. They are generally designed to burn No. 2 oil although some of the larger sizes are made for No. 4 oil. 4, record 2, English, - high%20pressure%20atomizing%20type%20gun%20burner

4, record 2, French, - br%C3%BBleur%20%C3%A0%20pulv%C3%A9risation%20m%C3%A9canique
