Transport correction. Much of the error due to the diffusion approximation comes from the assumption of isotopic scattering.(This assumption is necessary to reach the simple form of the integral transport [and] was also made to establish Fick's law when we assume that when a neutron leaving dV had probability d2 omega/4[ pi] of hitting dS where d2 omega was the solid angle under which dS is seen from the point of emission). The transport correction established from the differential form of the transport operator can compensate for most of this error. Because it is simple to introduce, it is always used in practice. It consists of replacing the total cross-section [sigma] with the so-called “transport” cross-section in the expression for the diffusion of the coefficient. 1, record 2, English, - %20transport%20correction

4, record 11, French, - condensateur%20de%20ballast

The value of diagnostic information as a resource is perhaps clearer in remedial situations, where entrapment techniques allow remediation to situate the description of errors relative to the student’s intentions. When generative information is available, constructing didactic operations on the basis of diagnostic results (i.e. generative diagnosis) becomes completely open ended. WEST's coaching principles(see figure 7. 5) provide good examples of didactic constraints in the form of pedagogical principles and of felicity conditions that reflect the needs of students. Another type of didactic constraint is provided by sequencing schemes(ex. simple to complex, focused to diversified, breadth versus focus, web versus linear, prerequisites first, important first, compiled to articulate, following logical structure, causal, teleological). The didactic base may also contains a large repertoire of local and global didactic techniques which they call teaching "routines" and "agendas"(Leinhardt and Greeno, 1986) or "tactics" and 'strategies"(Ohlsson, 1987a) These techniques can be very general(i. e., correction by counterexample), domain-specific(e. g., use of Dienes blocks for teaching decimal number representation), or even specific to classes of students(e. g., different age groups). 1, record 13, English, - didactic%20base

Air data sensor. At the Hanover air show, Badin-Crouzet announced the production of a new pitot static sensor, known as the 50500. This takes the form of a mobile delta-shaped vane which combines the functions of a pitot tube, a static pressure port and an angle-of-attack sensor. Pressure ports on the vane provide Pitot and static pressures, both of which are automatically compensated for in angle of attack. Differential pressure ports permit correction of the residual alignment error of the vane. Pressure sensors associated with a microprocessor inside the probe itself are used to compute this error in order to obtain accurate angle-of-attack information, which is supplied in either digital or analog form. 3, record 14, English, - air%20data%20sensor
