The Asian Dermatological Association was incoporated on the 21th November 1986 in Hong Kong. Main Objectives : 1. To promote the study and to encourage the advancement of dermatology. 2. To coordinate and correlate the efforts of organisations, companies, associations, societies, institutions, statutory bodies and other authorities and individual interested in dermatology all over the world, especially in Asian countries. 3. To promote, foster, develop and assist the dermatologists of all Asian countries, other medical and allied professions in the study of and the acquisition, dissemination and application of knowledge and information concerning dermatology. 4. To encourage and stimulate research in dermatology in furtherance of the objects of the Association. 5. To stimulate public interest and provide public education in dermatology. 6. To hold an Asian Dermatological Congress(ADS) every three years or at any such time interval as the Council deem fit and to sponsor additional international activities in any parts of the world.
