A gender-based analysis(GBA) is a tool to both understand the local context and to support gender equality. A GBA examines the relationships between men and women, girls and boys, their access to resources, their activities, and the constraints they face relative to each other in a particular context. It identifies the varied roles played by women and men, girls and boys in the household, community, workplace, political processes and economy. These different roles often result in women having less access to and control over resources, and less participation and influence in decision-making processes. A GBA also considers how other intersecting identity factors such as race, ethnicity, LGBTQ2I [lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, two-spirit, intersex], legal status, ability, language, religion, socio-economic status, and education, affect individual and group experiences, including among women and among men. Gender equality is not exclusively about women's or girls’ issues and is not only about working with or for women and girls. Men's and boys’ engagement is critical. 5, record 11, English, - gender%2Dbased%20analysis

7, record 11, French, - analyse%20comparative%20entre%20les%20sexes

Human Resources Development Canada(HRDC) through its network of Human Resource Centres, administers the Caribbean/Mexican Seasonal Agricultural Workers Program on behalf of the Government of Canada. HRDC requires employers, through their human resource planning strategies, to ensure that Canadian citizens and permanent residents are always considered for employment before employing foreign workers. The Caribbean/Mexican Seasonal Agricultural Workers’ Program was first implemented in 1966 following negotiations between Canada and Jamaica to facilitate the entry of Jamaican workers for temporary employment in the growing and processing of agricultural products during peak demand periods. The C/MSAWP was created to provide a supplementary source of reliable and qualified seasonal labour in order to improve Canada's prosperity by ensuring that crops are planted and harvested in a timely fashion. These measures help to maintain the livelihoods of Canadian and permanent resident workers in the agricultural industry as well as in other industries that directly or indirectly participate in and benefit from a strong and vital agricultural industry. In Ontario this program has responded to a critical shortage of available workers suitable for seasonal agricultural work. 3, record 25, English, - Caribbean%20and%20Mexican%20Seasonal%20Agricultural%20Workers%20Program

Online learning support is an integral part of the online learning process in guiding learners and providing feedback(Coomey & Stephenson, 2001; Oliver, 2001). In learner-centred instruction, learners direct and control various aspects of their learning(e. g. learning outcomes, choice of group members), with instructors in the background providing advice and general guidelines on resources and procedures. Various means of online learning support include :-Learning guides(e. g. generic ones on study and research skills or specific guides on how to complete a particular online course).-Online mentors and buddies who facilitate, coach or guide learners through the course.-Online personal learning portfolios(e. g. learners’ journals, personal learning logs) to promote self-reflection(a critical component of learner-centred instruction).-Online public learning portfolios to encourage peer review and feedback on each other's work. 1, record 53, English, - online%20learning%20support

2, record 59, French, - maximiser%20la%20productivit%C3%A9%20et%20l%27efficacit%C3%A9

In general, the problem of merging didactic and domain knowledge dynamically-a theme of further work on MENO-TUTOR(Woolf and McDonald, 1984a)-can be quite complex.
