Break crops generally refer to a pulse or oilseed crop grown instead of cereals. The decision not to grow wheat but to grow and choose a break crop is based on many factors including the relative profitability of the crops – yield by price, the cereal disease pressure, herbicide resistance and personal preference. 3, record 2, English, - break%20crop

Agriculture drones have a wide range of uses. For starters, they can be used in monitoring crop growth in real time. By taking aerial photographs... or videos... of large farm fields, farmers and agriculturists can identify potential problems with their crops before they become serious issues.... Drones in agriculture have also helped lower labor costs associated with traditional crop production practices by reducing the need for manual labor in areas such as scouting pest and disease infestations, detecting soil variations, measuring water content in the soil, or assessing fertilizer requirements. Additionally, some advanced models come equipped with sensors that measure light, temperature, pH levels in soil, and other essential parameters related to crop health. 5, record 3, English, - agricultural%20drone

Didymella applanata, a fungus. The disease is found in western Oregon and Washington on red rasberry, ’Loganberry’, and ’Youngberry’. The ’Willamette’ cultivar of red raspberry is rapidly infected by spur blight but also is tolerant and can produce a satisfactory crop even if disease incidence is high. From early April mature black fruiting bodies(perithecia) can be found in the gray affected areas of cane tissue. Perithecia discharge ascospores during favorable(wet) weather, continuing perhaps until the end of June. Ascospores infect leaves on new shoots, but under very favorable conditions may infect young canes and laterals directly. 1, record 8, English, - spur%20blight

Plant misses in the potato crop may be due to disease or environmental factors affecting growth of tuber seed pieces. Pathogens often associated with plant misses are Fusarium spp., Rhizoctonia solani, Erwinia carotovora and Pythium spp. Gaps, missing hills or delayed emergence may have little effect on the crop but misses that exceed 10% of the planted seed will have serious consequences on the yield, quality(size and shape) and disease levels in the harvested crop. Sometimes plant misses are not associated with rotted seed but are due to cultural or physiological causes. 2, record 15, English, - miss

2, record 18, French, - virus%20de%20la%20panachure%20jaune%20du%20riz

The general aim of plant breeders was to produce a grain that combined the hardiness, vigour, environmental tolerance and disease resistance of rye with the superior grain yield and quality characteristics of wheat. Originally many problems were encountered such as floret infertility, susceptibility to ergot, grain shrivelling and late maturity. These obstacles to successful production of triticale have been gradually overcome and triticale has become a significant crop in several countries such as Poland, Germany and Australia. 3, record 19, English, - shrivelling
