Identity preserved crops are handled more carefully than commodity grains, and they are produced with a chain of custody that is documented from beginning to end. Farmers must ensure that their fields aren’t contaminated with the previous year's crop, and measures must be taken to ensure that IP crops aren’t compromised by wind-blown seed from neighbouring fields. Trucks, farm equipment and granaries must also be cleaned to make sure the IP crop isn’t spoiled by the remnants of another harvest. 2, record 1, English, - identity%20preserved%20crop

Didymella applanata, a fungus. The disease is found in western Oregon and Washington on red rasberry, ’Loganberry’, and ’Youngberry’. The ’Willamette’ cultivar of red raspberry is rapidly infected by spur blight but also is tolerant and can produce a satisfactory crop even if disease incidence is high. From early April mature black fruiting bodies(perithecia) can be found in the gray affected areas of cane tissue. Perithecia discharge ascospores during favorable(wet) weather, continuing perhaps until the end of June. Ascospores infect leaves on new shoots, but under very favorable conditions may infect young canes and laterals directly. 1, record 3, English, - spur%20blight

1, record 5, French, - march%C3%A9%20de%20frais%20financiers

In grain markets, which normally are carrying charge markets, there are a number of occasions when the price structure may become inverted. One is the difference in the supply situation between a contract month that falls at the end of a crop year and one which follows the new harvest. Particularly in years when there is a small carryover, there may well be a higher price in the old crop delivery month because of the difference in the supply and demand balance between the two months. Short-term supply and demand imbalances can also cause prices to invert. A sudden surge in demand or a shortfall in supply may cause the near contract to move higher, while having little or no effect on the further contracts. 2, record 7, English, - grain%20market

1, record 7, French, - march%C3%A9%20de%20grains
