Nanogel is a term used to describe any mixture of nano-sized particles or fibers with a gel, usually protein-based. They have the ability to cross into the cells of living organisms. 2, record 2, English, - nanogel
Record number: 2, Textual support number: 2 CONT
There has been interest in applying nanogels to drug delivery systems, such as protein delivery and gene delivery. In general, chemically cross-linked nanogels are synthesized by microemulsion polymerization or a crosslinking reaction of intra-associated polymer molecules. We develop tailor-made functional nanogels to create novel nanobiomaterials (nanogel engineering) by the self-assembly of functional associating polymers as building blocks. In particular, nanogels of cholesteryl group-bearing pullulan (CHP) selectively interact with proteins as a host and are useful as artificial molecular chaperone and drug carriers such as cancer immune therapy. 3, record 2, English, - nanogel

Combining ability for grain yield, yield components, and several agronomic and qualitative traits, was studied in a seven-parent diallel cross. The 21 F SUB 1 hybrids and the seven parental cultivars were grown in replicated plot trials sown at normal seed density in three locations in the years 1992 and 1993. The effects of general combining ability(gca) were highly significant for all the traits measured with the exception of seeds per spikelet, while the specific combining ability(sca) effects were statistically significant for grain yield, plant height, heading time, for all the yield components, and for the Chopin alveographic parameters P and P/L ratio/(From an abstract found in Dialog). 2, record 5, English, - replicated%20plot

Consortium insurance is not a new program at Export and Development Corporation. Known previously as the Cross Consortium Insurance Program, the policy has been available, but largely unused, since 1978. In a round of consultations undertaken in early 1985, exporters revealed why they had not made use of the policy. Basically, they felt that EDC' s preoccupation with a consortium's recourseworthiness-or its ability to repay EDC in the event of a rightful call on a bond-meant that none but the strongest consortia had a chance to meet the criteria. In a major shift, EDC now places greater importance on the consortium's ability, as a whole, to perform the contract. 1, record 6, English, - recourseworthiness

1, record 6, French, - possibilit%C3%A9%20d%27exercer%20un%20recours
