Curb bulbs extend the sidewalk into the street, reducing the time and distance it takes a pedestrian to cross. Curb bulbs can also prevent drivers from parking in front of crosswalks or blocking curb ramps. The visibility between drivers and pedestrians is also improved with curb bulbs because pedestrians are brought farther out into the street, making crossing locations more recognizable. 7, record 1, English, - curb%20extension

The show is a competition to find the best young signer in Canada. It is hosted by Ben Mulroney. The show begins with a cross Canada tour in which singers audition in front of four judges. Eventually the performers are narrowed down to 10 finalists, with each competitor performing live. Viewers have two hours following the broadcast of the show to phone in their votes for their favorite competitor. On the following night's episode(live again), the competitor with the fewest votes is sent home. 1, record 13, English, - Canadian%20Idol

Menger's triadic fractal sponge. Karl Menger selects a different trema, shaped like a cross with spikes front and back, consisting of N=20 subcubes of side 1/3, connected to one another. Among them, 12 form "rods" or ropes, and the remaining 8 are knots, connectors, or ties.(...)
