Flyball races match two teams of four dogs each, racing side-by-side over a fifty one foot long course. Each dog must run in relay fashion down the jumps, trigger a flyball box, releasing the ball, retrieve the ball, and return over the jumps. The next dog is released to run the course but can’t cross the start/finish line until the previous dog has returned over all four jumps and reached the start/finish line. The first team to have all four dogs finish the course without error wins the heat. 2, record 2, English, - flyball

2, record 2, French, - flyball

Following a cross, the segregating progeny is grown in bulk over many generations, up to seven or eight, before the plants that appear to be the best agronomically are selected. These are then increased and tested agronomically as well as for quality. If any characteristic is not satisfactory, the experimental line is discarded. The bulk procedure is not used very extensively because faster progress can be made using the pedigree procedure or backcrossing procedure. 1, record 3, English, - segregating%20progeny

Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 CONT
1, record 3, French, - descendance%20h%C3%A9t%C3%A9rozygote
