Acute lymphocytic leukemia(ALL) develops when the DNA of a stem cell in the bone marrow changes. The change is acquired, which means that it is not present at birth. ALL develops and progresses quickly. ALL occurs when the bone marrow makes too many abnormal lymphoblasts(immature lymphocytes). These immature cells(called blasts or leukemia cells) do not develop into mature, healthy cells. As the number of blasts increases in the bone marrow and blood, they crowd out healthy white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets. 5, record 31, English, - acute%20lymphoblastic%20leukemia

With this title comes a responsibility to live up to high ethics and moral character. You must maintain high standards, or your integrity will come under fire and your days as a livestock judge will be short lived.... Once your morals are established, the next requirement of being the judge is to have the animal-evaluation skills necessary to sort the livestock. Having real-world production agriculture experience is not essential, but is very helpful. A minimum of two years of collegiate judging team experience is highly recommended.... Developing self confidence to be an effective evaluator requires multiple trips to the ring. There is no substitute for practice and repetition.... Good public speaking skills and the ability to accurately describe animals are two traits that elevate a good animal evaluator to the top. A judge who can effectively describe why one animal places ahead of another will do a better job of educating the exhibitors, families and crowd. 2, record 46, English, - livestock%20judge

Self-categorization theory is a social psychological theory developed by John Turner(1985) and colleagues(Turner, Hogg, Oakes, Reicher & Wetherell, 1987). In simple terms, the theory postulates that at different times we perceive ourselves as unique individuals and at other times as members of groups and that these two are equally valid expressions of self... Self-categorization theory has been applied to many processes in social psychology, in particular social stereotyping, social judgment, crowd behaviour, small group processes, but arguably its most extensive application to date has been the explanation of social influence... 2, record 48, English, - self%2Dcategorization%20theory

A sole licence is one in which the patentee does not himself abstain from manufacture. Such licences are not therefore very common since the patentee will usually either wish to maintain his monopoly and satisfy the market by his own manufacture or get out and leave it to his licensee. On the other hand a licensee is often not interested in paying an entrance fee to be one of a crowd, so to speak, but is prepared to pay for the privilege of running in double harness with the patentee and from the patentee's point of view discretion may be the better part of valour if he is confronted by a powerful and reluctant competitor who is prepared to settle on this basis. For these and other reasons the sole licence is rare but is sometimes a way out of a difficulty. 4, record 54, English, - sole%20license

The stands of juvenile trees don’t need to be spaced the same distance that mature trees require, because there is an optimum spacing which encourages natural pruning of lower branches. Such natural pruning is a desirable energy saver for the land owner. Also, conifers have a growth habit built in, called geotrophism, which is what makes a tree grow vertically rather than just meandering crookedly up to its finished height. Using the force of geotrophism to advantage, we may just crowd our trees just enough to keep them reaching higher than a specimen tree with its bushy branching and its severly bushy habit. All this doesn’t give you a formula to work with though, so try this approach. You should thin most stands of juvenile age to intermediate age trees to about eight feet apart. Later, as the trees mature, they could be spaced even farther to as much as twelve feet apart. 2, record 59, English, - natural%20pruning

For more than six decades the US Government has been implementing policies to stem urban blight and decay. Despite massive investments in social programs for decaying inner cities there is growing evidence of accelerating slumification and increasing social problems. Unknown to many, people in the slums and hyper-ghettos have, in their daily struggle for basis needs, developed new and innovative mechanisms for survival. These help to maintain both human dignity and a sense of community. In addition, they visibly change the community and serve as an impulse to revitalizing neighborhoods.

Professional investment management is not infallible-mutual fund shares can also be victims in falling markets and their net asset values are subject to cyclical swings. Professional management, too, can be swayed by market fads and crowd psychology in over-optimistic bull markets immediately prior to market plunges. 2, record 79, English, - professional%20investment%20management

2, record 79, French, - gestion%20professionnelle%20des%20placements
