Methods of search — The size, location, terrain and obstacles that are faced by the search teams normally dictate the method selected for the search of a disaster site.... One or more specialized search methods(e. g., strip, grid, spiral, quadrant, or zone) may be considered. The method chosen will depend on the situation, including the density of debris and remains, and the location of the disaster site(inside a structure or scattered across a field) or in a body of water. 1, record 2, English, - search%20method

The rubber dam... is used to isolate a designated tooth or teeth in the mouth before certain operative, endodontic and preventive dentistry procedures are performed. The rubber dam provides a clean, dry field of operation and improves the dentist's view of the operating site. It also keeps fluids, tissues, and the tongue away from the operating site and prevents the patient from accidentally swallowing or aspirating debris. 1, record 4, English, - rubber%20dam

Aerial thermography is essentially used in connection with water studies(hydrogeology, study of water flow, pollution). With the advent of helicopters which can fly at low altitudes and be equipped with infrared sensors, a whole new field of applications has been opened up, such as the study of rivers(detection of debris, cartography of surface temperatures), the control of thermal insulation in buildings, etc. 1, record 5, English, - aerial%20thermography

1, record 5, French, - thermographie%20a%C3%A9rienne
