As part of the Director General' s Office(DGO), the Office of Coordination and Risk Management is responsible for the coordination of the risk management program that facilitates timely and effective resolution of issues and ensures a coordinated and unified response on behalf of the Directorate. The Directorate emergency preparedness and business continuity activities are also coordinated out of this Office. The Office also houses the Secretariat for the Directorate's Expert Advisory Committee's and coordinates the requests for reconsideration of final decisions issued for human drug submissions. Relevant du Bureau du directeur général, le Bureau de la coordination et de la gestion du risque est responsable de la coordination du programme de la gestion du risque, qui facilite la résolution rapide et efficace des problèmes et qui s'assure que la réponse de la Direction est coordonnée et harmonisée. Il veille à la coordination des activités de planification des mesures d'urgence et de continuité des opérations de la Direction. Le Bureau est également responsable des services de secrétariat pour les comités consultatifs d'experts de la Direction, et il coordonne les demandes de révision des décisions finales sur les présentations de drogues pour usage humain.
