Exercise Advice : Place a barbell under your chin, resting it securely across the tops of your shoulders. Hold the barbell in place with your hands with elbows elevated so that [they] are parallel to the floor. Your feet should be just beyond shoulder width apart. When hard braking is applied for slowing down or stopping after an aborted takeoff or emergency stop situation, the tire is locked up and can’t rotate, causing rapid heat buildup. When the tire begins to smoke, rubber debris build up under the tire. As the skid continues, more and more debris cause a barrier to form against the water, preventing it from escaping past the tire. A seal has now been created... heating the water under the tire to a point where steam exists. The steam is strong enough to support the tire and prevent runway contact. Should the skid continue, the tire enters reverted rubber state as more heat, steam and rubber debris continue the process.

Rules : There are 3 teams, each with a different color jersey.... There are 4 players on each team... The players on the defensive teams form a square around the ball. Avalanches release from snow slopes in two distinct ways. A point release or loose snow avalanche starts when a small amount of loose snow... slips and begins to slide down a slope, setting additional snow in motion. A sewage pump is an essential component of any waste processing system. While most plumbing systems rely on gravity to bring the waste material down to the sewer level to be processed, occasionally the sewage line is on higher ground than where the waste is originating from. In these cases, a sewage lift pump must be used to counter the effects of gravity and transport the waste matter to its destination.... A sewage lift pump, the primary component of a sewage lift system, is essentially a large tank in which waste water and material collect. Within the tank is a float device which raises and lowers depending on the level of waste in the tank at any given point in time. When the tank fills with waste matter and the float rises to a certain point within it, the sewage lift pump activates. The lift pump essentially forces the waste water and material up through a series of pipes to the sewer or septic lines where it will continue to be processed. As the lift pump moves more material from the tank, the float will begin to lower. Once it reaches a certain point towards the bottom of the tank, it will trigger the lift pump to shut off. All sewage lift pumps also have a built-in alarm that will sound if the float fails to operate correctly.

During World War II, Whitehorse played a significant role as a key link in the north-south transportation system, hosting the Americans and Canadians in charge of expanding the air link that was the Northwest Staging Route(a series of airfields across the Northwest), building the 2300-km Alaska Highway, or constructing the Canol Pipeline from Norman Wells, N. W. T., and an oil refinery at Whitehorse. In 1950, Whitehorse was incorporated as a city. The fire extinguishing equipment for an airliner such as the Douglas DC-10 incorporates three systems with six pressurized agent containers, two for each engine. The containers for the wing-mounted engines are located in pairs in the leading edge of the wing between the nacelle and the fuselage on each side of the aircraft.... The discharge cartridge is an electrically fired explosive unit that provides force to rupture the disk seal in the outlet port of the container and release the extinguishing agent to the deployment lines. One discharge cartridge is installed on each wing-mounted container and two are installed on the aft-engine container. The discharge cartridge contains two squibs(explosive charges) that are fired by an electric circuit that heats the powder to the ignition point. When the fire extinguisher control handle is pulled down, the electric circuit is closed and the squibs are fired. The force of the explosion ruptures the disk seal, thus releasing the extinguishing agent. A screen in the discharge head prevents particles of the disk from entering the deployment line.

More properly, it should be attached to a tripod so that it can be placed exactly over a point on the ground by using a plumb-bob from the head of the tripod.

Along with a recorder you will need a microphone. There are two types of microphones that are directional enough for bird song recording the shotgun microphone and the parabolic reflector microphone. The parabolic reflector is actually a combination of a reflector dish typically between 13" and 30" in diameter and a microphone. The microphone is positioned in the focal point of the reflector. This is the area where all of the sound is concentrated and yields an increased sensitivity that cannot be obtained by any other method.
