Rugby sevens teams are made up of seven players instead of 15 as in rugby union. Its shorter matches consist of two seven-minute halves. This full-contact game is played on a standard rugby union playing field measuring 100 metres by 70 metres(109. 4 yards x 76. 6 yards). Players run while holding the ball, and cannot pass the ball forward — it can only be passed laterally or backwards. Teams score points by either kicking the ball through the goal posts or touching the ball down in the other team's goal area. 1, record 1, English, - rugby%20sevens

Two-degree-of-freedom, dry, tuned-gimbal gyroscope. This name is used to differentiate between this instrument and the floated gyro... In the static condition as the rotor is moved up and down, the motion is accommodated by the flexure pivots associated with the gimbal. This motion is resisted by the spring force of the flexure pivots. As the motor is brought up to velocity, a speed is reached at which the gimbal-flexure pivot combination is in resonance. At resonance no force about the sensitive axes(x, y) can be transmitted between the motor shaft and the rotor; hence, the two are decoupled. 2, record 9, English, - flexure%20pivot

A good understanding of the basic axis system used to describe aircraft motion is necessary to fully appreciate flight test data, since all measurements are referenced to this axis system. Aircraft translational motion is described in terms of motion in three different directions, each direction being perpendicular to the other two(orthogonal). Motion in the X direction is forward and aft velocity. The Y direction produces sideways motion to the left and right, and up and down motion is in the Z direction... There are several slightly different versions of the basic axis system just described. They differ primarily in the exact placement of the zero reference lines, but are generally similar in their directions.(For example, the body-axis system uses the fuselage center line as the x axis, while a wind-axis system uses the direction that the aircraft is moving through the air as the x axis.) 4, record 10, English, - body%20axis%20system

There are tow types of matrix multiplication : scalar-by-matrix multiplication and matrix-by-matrix multiplication. As a noun, a scalar is a single number or scale factor that all the matrix elements are multiplied by in scalar multiplication. This is used to scale down all the elements of a matrix in equal proportion. In graphics, this is used on row and column vectors that represent points in space. It moves a point radially toward or away from the origin(0, 0, 0). This is often done to put the values of x, y, and z within a range that graphics routines can more easily handle, especially when integer arithmetic is being performed. 1, record 12, English, - scalar%2Dby%2Dmatrix%20multiplication

Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. An odd aspect of Quantum Mechanics is contained in the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle(HUP). The HUP can be stated in different ways, let me first talk in terms of momentum and position. If there is a particle, such as an electron, moving through space, I can characterize its motion by telling you where it is(its position) and what its velocity is(more precisely, its momentum). Now, let me say something strange about what happens when I try to measure its positions and momentum. In the Quantum Mechanical world, the idea that we can measure things exactly breaks down. Let me state this notion more precisely. Suppose a particle has momentum p and a position x. In a Quantum Mechanical world, I would not be able to measure p and x precisely. There is an uncertainty associated with each measurement, e. g. there is some dp and dx, which I can never get rid of even in a perfect experiment!!!. This is due to the fact that whenever I make a measurement, I must disturb the system.(In order for me to know something is there, I must bump into it.) The size of the uncertainties are not independent, they are related... 2, record 13, English, - Heisenberg%20uncertainty%20principle
