a procedure for discovering a person's characteristic modes of behavior(his attitudes, motivations, or dynamic traits) by observing his behavior in response to a situation that does not elicit or compel a particular response-i. e., to a relatively unstructured, ambiguous, or vague situation. Since its introduction in 1988, GRLWEAP(which is based on the WEAP program of 1976) has achieved wide popularity throughout the world. The program simulates the behavior of a pile(a slender elastic rod) and the surrounding soil(an elastic-plastic and viscous material) under the impact of a pile driving hammer. Powerful options combine the basic analysis of one hammer blow into the simulation of a complete pile driving process. Today the GRLWEAP software is recognized by many specifying agencies as the most reliable predictor of dynamic pile driving stresses, hammer performance, and either blow count or bearing capacity of an impact driven pile. 2, record 5, English, - GRLWEAP%202005

Representing the evolution in time of a dynamic system by left shifts of the digits in a suitable number system brings out another important property of systems for which such a representation is possible. No matter how accurately the initial condition x0 of a coordinate is known, the accuracy will always be finite, that is, the digits of x0 to the right of the last known digit will be unknown. As the dynamic system evolves in time, the unknown digits will be shifted to the left; that is, they will grow in significance, and will sooner or later arrive at the "decimal" point and thus dominate the behavior of the system. And because the digits are unknown, this behavior will be completely unpredictable. The resulting motion is called chaotic. 2, record 11, English, - chaotic
