A veering wind is a wind that turns clockwise with height. An example of a veering wind would be a southeast wind at the surface and a west wind at 700 millibars. The wind turns in the same direction as a clock from the surface to 700 millibars. A veering wind is associated with warm air advection and dynamic lifting... The magnitude of warm air advection is a function of wind speed and the pre-existing thermal gradient. Weak winds will result in weak advection. Winds often veer ahead of cold fronts(in the warm sector of a mid-latitude cyclone). 2, record 2, English, - veering%20wind

Frequently, geopotential in the atmosphere is referred to as dynamic height, as suggested by the use of the practical unit above. In the sea, the geopotential is negative in reference to that of the sea level geoid. The term dynamic depth is therefore commonly employed as the negative of the geopotential in the sea. Again, it is to be emphasized that dynamic height and dynamic depth are merely other names for geopotential. 1, record 4, English, - dynamic%20depth

NDHQ 97 is the largest accommodation project ever undertaken by the Department of National Defence or the government. It's more than just moving people from building to building. It's refitting buildings and general office space, using a new design concept called the universal footprint. It's adapting accommodation to re-engineered organizations. It's also purchasing and installing furniture best suited to a modern, dynamic organization. The headquarters will have a new look. In the four buildings... corridors will run along the windows. Offices will be clustered at the centre of each floor. Major traffic will flow outside work areas, not through them. People working in teams will have work areas designed for teams. Offices will have more natural light, better air conditioning and better ventilation. Some screens will have glazed windows to allow natural light to spill through. Each workstation will include large, well-lit work surfaces for computers and overall, will have more usable workspace. Plenty of storage space will be located above and below work surfaces. But employees will be encouraged to make the most of their space by storing information on diskette, rather than in filing cabinets. The look will be cleaner and less cluttered. And whether people are tall or short, they’ll be able to adjust their desks, chairs and computers to the height that's right for them. 3, record 8, English, - universal%20footprint

4, record 8, French, - plan%20universel

Today Earths atmosphere can be divided into different regions described by the pattern of the temperature distribution, physiochemical processes or dynamic and kinetic processes.... The distribution of various physiochemical processes is... divided into four regions. The ozonosphere, lying roughly between 10 and 50 km, is the region where there is an appreciable ozone concentration... The neutrosphere is the shell below 70 to 80 km which is relatively unionised. The ionosphere, the shell starting at 70 to 80 km, is the region in which ionisation of one or more of the atmospheric compounds is significant.
