Human Resources Development Canada(HRDC) intends to work toward its goal of promoting greater autonomy for Native communities. These communities are seeking control over tools for improving their workers’ employability, upgrading their workers’ skills to meet labour market requirements and fostering community development. The Cree and the Naskapi participated in the "Pathways to Success" national strategy. During the 1994-1995 fiscal year, the Cree Local Aboriginal Management Board and the Naskapi Local Aboriginal Management Board received dollars each other.

Au cours de l'année financière 1994-1995, la Commission autochtone de gestion locale crie et la Commission autochtone de gestion locale naskapie ont reçu chacune un montant d'argent.
