Direct producer connection refers to the establishment of shortened supply chains where the production unit(farmer, fisher, artisan) sells goods directly to the consumer or local institution, bypassing conventional intermediary distributors. This model fosters transparency regarding production methods and pricing, facilitating relational trust between those who grow food and those who consume it. It represents a structural shift toward localized economic control and increased accountability in food provisioning. 1, record 1, English, - direct%20producer%20connection

The importance of oceans and the life within them is often understated. Oceans make up 71% of the Earth's surface, and produce 50-80% of the oxygen in the atmosphere... A majority of this oxygen is produced by microscopic free-floating plants, also known as phytoplankton, which account for the majority of bottom trophic level production in most marine ecosystems. A large number of marine food webs are under "bottom-up" control, in which the quantity of primary production controls the abundance of individuals within trophic levels and their biomass. The Arctic marine ecosystem is thought to be under bottom-up control, where primary production is largely limited by advective nutrient supply from adjacent oceans... 2, record 12, English, - lower%20trophic%20level%20production

FDA is responsible for protecting the public health by assuring the safety, efficacy and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, medical devices, our nation's food supply, cosmetics, and products that emit radiation. FDA is also responsible for advancing the public health by helping to speed innovations that make medicines more effective, safer, and more affordable and by helping the public get the accurate, science-based information they need to use medicines and foods to maintain and improve their health. FDA also has responsibility for regulating the manufacturing, marketing and distribution of tobacco products to protect the public health and to reduce tobacco use by minors. Finally, FDA plays a significant role in the Nation's counterterrorism capability. FDA fulfills this responsibility by ensuring the security of the food supply and by fostering development of medical products to respond to deliberate and naturally emerging public health threats. 1, record 38, English, - U%2ES%2E%20Food%20and%20Drug%20Administration

Nutrient dynamics in soil-plant systems not only reflect the pattern of nutrient flow but also influence food production and quality, and the contaminant pathways in agricultural and natural ecosystems. Cyanocobalamin injection is used to treat and prevent a lack of vitamin B12 that may be caused by any of the following : pernicious anemia(lack of a natural substance needed to absorb vitamin B12 from the intestine) ;certain diseases, infections, or medications that decrease the amount of vitamin B12 absorbed from food; or a vegan diet(strict vegetarian diet that does not allow any animal products, including dairy products and eggs). Lack of vitamin B12 may cause anemia(condition in which the red blood cells do not bring enough oxygen to the organs) and permanent damage to the nerves. Cyanocobalamin injection also may be given as a test to see how well the body can absorb vitamin B12. Cyanocobalamin injection is in a class of medications called vitamins. Because it is injected straight into the bloodstream, it can be used to supply vitamin B12 to people who cannot absorb this vitamin through the intestine. 3, record 65, English, - cyanocobalamin%20injection

Linking of an exogonic reaction and an endogonic reaction in such a way that there is only a small net change in free energy, resulting in an overall reversible reaction. Coupling is brought about when an enzyme causes a substrate that is to be consumed... to react with one of the cell' s small-molecule energy donors(say, ATP) to give rise to an energized activated substrate molecule. The subsequent decomposition of this activated substrate in the synthetic reaction will release significant energy, which will result in the synthetic reaction.... The need for cells to carry on simultaneously many different coupled reactions requires cells to devote a significant part of their total metabolic activity to the constant replenishment of their ATP supply. In animal cells and in most bacteria, the formation of ATP is coupled with the breakdown of food molecules that are even more rich in energy. In cells that carry out photosynthesis, the energy of sunlight is used directly to make ATP. 3, record 78, English, - coupled%20reaction

Process of treatment provides rapid sorption and adsorption of pollutants working in high load regime. After sludge moves for the regeneration in the special unit. Sludge separation is done in the clarifier equipped with thin film modules. Portion of sludge circulates between biosorber and sludge blanket into clarifier. Mostly sludge with the special equipment is removed from clarifier and pumped to regenerator. Biosorber and regenerator is equipped with plastic media. Fixed biocenosis is characterised by lot of microorganisms with the predator and bacteriofaque type of feeding(much more than in suspended sludge)... Mineralizator. Vertical cylinder-shaped reservoir equipped with aerators, plastic media thin film modules, pumps, electric equipment and automation. Reservoir is divided by semi-submersed partition walls forming clarifier. Mineralization of sludge takes place in aerobic conditions. Excessive sludge supply to mineralizator is continuous due to clarifier. Sludge water by gravity enters reactor. Due to plastic media using in the sludge mineralization trophic conditions for upper level of food pyramid is completed. Thus considerable part(90-95%) of excessive sludge is reduced due to complete trophic relations. The traditional wet markets of Hong Kong still supply the majority of Hong Kong's consumers with their fresh food needs. The term "wet market" describes literally the conditions within these markets-lacking refrigeration meat and fish products are often displayed on a bed of melting ice, live fish are kept in tanks which typically overflow onto the ground and fruit and vegatables are kept wet by stall-holders who liberally spray produce with water to keep it cool, looking fresh and perhaps also to add to the weight of goods they sell. 2, record 85, English, - wet%20market

Strictly speaking, folding means the enclosure of sheep in pens or ’folds’. In the past, these were often hurdles made of wood or wattle and one of the reasons for the decline in the practice of arable folding was the labour involved in moving folds. The object of such close confinement of sheep was and is to achieve a high degree of managemental control. This may be used for various purposes, such as uniform manuring and treading of land, rationing of the food supply or a high degree of utilization. 2, record 96, English, - folding
