1, record 12, French, - programme%20de%20pr%C3%A9vention%20des%20pertes

SOCRAM is a simulation model that uses the eleven Force Planning Scenarios to generate the demand for operational assets. In a simulation run of the model operational assets are demanded when a scenario is activated and several scenarios can be activated concurrently. The scenario activation rates are based on historical records of CF [Canadian Forces] operations with an emphasis placed on the 1990s. The output of the model is a series of risk assessments where risk is defined as the probability of having an insufficient amount of operational assets. If the Force Planning Scenarios are prioritised or weighted then the consequences of this risk can be determined. 1, record 14, English, - Scenario%20Operational%20Capability%20Risk%20Assessment%20Model

As a reciprocal of the principle of mass, economy of force at the strategic level of war suggests that, in the absence of unlimited resources, a nation may have to accept some risk in areas where vital national interests are not immediately at stake.... The gradual debranning of wheat bran was possible because wheat bran is composed of about eight layers and the physical binding force between these layers is loosened upon absorption of moisture. When different mechanical actions, such as friction and abrasion, are applied to tempered wheat, the "bran" can be sequentially removed(Dexter and Wood, 1996). The fractions, by-products of the debranning process, are rich in dietary fibre(Wood and Mullin, 1996) and may have great potential as functional food ingredients. Wheat bran may reduce the risk of colon cancer and alleviates constipation. [Source : ethanol project-Lkstarwk. en p. 1]. 1, record 18, English, - debranning

Debranning of wheat provides a starch enriched feedstock for ethanol production. The economics of this process will be greatly improved by utilization of the co-produced bran fractions. These products are novel; although previously commercially available combined in the form of conventional wheat bran, the separated fractions have not been available. The physicochemical and physiological properties of these fractions are not known, but they have significant potential for impact in the growing health food or functional food markets.

MSI's or musculoskeletal injuries is the term used to describe cumulative disorders of the body ligaments, tendons, mucles and other soft tissues. MSI's include back injuries, repetitive motion/strain injuries(also known as RSI’S), cumulative trauma disorders and occupational cervico-brachial disorders. MSI's refer to specific body part which also have clinical names such as carpal tunnel syndrome and tendonitis or common names like tennis elbow or carpet layer's knee. Two basic types of work-related risk factors contribute to MSI's : job demands and workplace components. Major job demands are : posture, force and repetition. Workplace components are specific risks that contribute to job demands such as : workstation design, equipment and tools, manual materials handling, environment factors and work organisation. 1, record 19, English, - carpet%20layer%27s%20knee
