Les «gaines de reprise et d'air neuf» sont raccordées au générateur par un té. Une des branches apporte l'air neuf, l'autre, l'air de reprise. Les «gaines de retour» semblent acheminer au générateur l'air de reprise et l'air neuf.

OBS

L'auteur du Dictionnaire technique du bâtiment et des travaux publics (BABAT) préfère l'emploi de «conduit» à celui de «gaine». Cependant, dans le chauffage à air chaud, l'utilisation du terme «gaine», unité ou syntagme, est très fréquente.
