This is one of the six modules of PWGSC' s [Public Works and Government Services Canada] Common Departmental Financial System(CDFS). The budget portion of the Budget and Forecasting Module allows input of financial, full time equivalent, or statistical data, either by keyboard or by an upload of an ASCII file. This data can be input as one amount or spread by period(month, quarter, etc.). This portion of the Module allows users to identify budget transfers as temporary or permanent. It also provides for a budget entry at the lowest level, that will reference a client defined control point and distribute the budget amounts down from the reference point to the lowest level respecting the allotment controls that are in place in the Financial Control Table(allotment data). The forecast portion of the Module allows for the input of financial, full time equivalent, or statistical data, by keyboard or an upload. Data can be input as one amount which overwrites the current amount. 1, record 8, English, - Budget%20and%20Forecasting%20Module
