Their relative closeness of frequency allows a switch to cross connect, switch, or in some way process them. Record number: 5, Textual support number: 1 CONT
In practical graphics applications, one starts with a set of vertices for the polygon in user's co-ordinates. For the seed filling algorithm to work, first the borders have to be drawn using the border colour(normally, using Bresenham), after which an internal point has to be identified and then the seed filling algorithm executed. Filling algorithms can be used to determine areas of closed polygons at the raster level in terms of pixel numbers. The polygon is filled with a unique colour and then the number of pixels are counted which have this colour value in the frame buffer, or more efficiently within the min/max box of the polygon. 1, record 5, English, - seed%20filling%20algorithm

The NCR chips organize data in 8x8-pixel arrays called raster blocks. To draw figures into the system's frame buffer, the bits in memory are divided into raster blocks, a block is transferred to the 7300, where pixels within the block are modified, and the block is then returned to the frame buffer... raster op logic in the 7301 can act directly on the frame buffer's raster blocks. 1, record 8, English, - raster%20block
