By blocking the view of the outside world, the user’s senses are focused on the images, thereby engaging the user in the experience. This can help to make the experience more realistic.

The plurality of structural components being folded to form the VR headset. Hydraulic door opener. This manually-operated spreader is relatively lightweight. It consists of a hand pump and spreader device. The spreader has intermeshed teeth that can be easily slipped into a narrow opening such as between a door and a door frame. A few pumps of the handle cause the jaws of the spreader device to open, exerting pressure on the object to be moved. The pressure usually causes the locking mechanism or door to fail.

The door shall be end hung (270 degree swing). Closure shall be by the gravity lock device, which retains door in both the (270 degree) open position as well as in the (0 degree) closed position. The door will easily hold in the open position for cart loading. Door overlap (when in open position) is 3.2 inches. Hinges are fully protected by the cart’s top and base when the door is closed for transport.

There is an extremely important design consideration when constructing and installing pull-outs in a cabinet behind doors. The European hinge, that is often used, has the ability to open in less than the space it requires for door overlap. In effect, the door mounted with these hinges opens in a space less than 5/8" which puts the edge of the door slightly inside the face frame opening. While this feature is extremely beneficial, particularly when two doors are close together, it means that a pull-out will rub or hit the door. To provent this, 1" by 2" cleats are installed on the interior of the carcass, and the drawer glides are mounted to the cleats.

Determination of the effective opening size, dw, FIH. The effective opening size of a geotextile, dw, is determined by wet sieving quartz sand of known composition using modified sieving equipment. The geotextile functions as a sieve.... The test sample,(diameter 18 cm), is clamped into a sieve frame. The sand, which has a dry weight of 100 g for wovens and a dry weight of 300 g for non-wovens, is then sprinkled onto the sample. The sand is then sprayed continuously with water and sieved for 15 minutes in a modified sieve machine with a vertical amplitude of 3 mm at a frequency of 50 Hz. The sand which passes through the geotextile sample is caught on a paper filter and then analyzed with [different sieves].... The effective opening size, dw, is found from the coarsest sand fraction which has passed through the test sample and in which there is still a defined quantity in relation to the original fraction.

The third technique for determining the pore size distribution is based upon wet sieving. Again, there are several variations on the basic concept .... The FIH (Franzius Institut Hanover] method determines a parameter known as the "Wet Sieving Effective opening Size" (Dw), which is sometimes considered approximately equivalent to the 90% opening size .... However, as test results obtained by Heerten demonstrate this relationship is neither accurate nor consistent.
