Royal College Council may bestow Honorary Fellowship on individuals who are not eligible for Fellowship, but who have demonstrated outstanding performance in a particular vocation or a specific area of professional activity directly or indirectly related to the field of medicine. Honorary Fellows may use the designation FRCPSC(Hon). Honorary Fellowship is an affiliate status, and individuals in this category are not Royal College certified.
