Goalball is played exclusively by athletes with visual impairments, using a ball with bells inside. Two teams of three face off on an indoor court with tactile lines and goals at either end. Because athletes must hear the ball and be able to concentrate, spectators are asked to remain silent during the game but are free to cheer when a goal is scored. 2, record 1, English, - goalball

Every winter, almost 25% of Canadians are infected with influenza. Thousands become seriously ill, and thousands die from flu related complications. Most people who want to improve their chances of having a flu free winter can benefit from the annual flu shot. The flu shot cannot give a person the flu, and side effects are minor. At high risk are seniors, adults and children with chronic diseases, and their caregiver. Without vaccination, they may face the possibility of serious or even fatal consequences, should they get the flu. 1, record 11, French, - Campagne%20annuelle%20de%20sensibilisation%20%C3%A0%20la%20grippe

For simple thickening of very dilute stocks up to 12% consistency, multidisc thickeners... can be used. A fiber mat forms on the face of each sector as it submerges in the vat of stock. After complete submergence, vacuum is applied and more pulp is deposited while filtrate is drawn through the mat. The initial filtrate is relatively cloudy and can be segregated(by the action of the end valve) for dilution uses. The later(clear) filtrate is sufficiently free of fiber to be used for shower water. Following emergence from the vat, the pulp mat is further dewatered and finally removed from the filter media by a knockoff shower. Multidisc thickeners are most commonly used as save all devices, i. e., to recover fine fibers from white water and reuse the water. 1, record 19, English, - multidisc%20thickener

1, record 19, French, - %C3%A9paississeur%20%C3%A0%20disques
