Relative work. Two or more jumpers exit in close sequence, and work together in free fall to perform aerial maneuvers, such as the baton pass.

OBS

There are three main events is skydiving competitions. "Accuracy jumps" are made onto a target in a "drop zone". "Style jumps" are jumps with a series of set manoeuvres. And "relative work" is for teams of four or eight jumpers who perform a series of stunts during the free fall. World championships are held for each event, for men and women separately, and there is an overall champion, too.

Enfin, le «vol relatif» ou «travail relatif» est une épreuve par équipes dans laquelle 4 ou 8 concurrents effectuent une série de manœuvres en chute libre. Les championnats du monde comportent les 3 épreuves; les hommes et les femmes y prennent part séparément. Il y a également un champion pour l'ensemble des épreuves.

Selon la Fédération française du parachutisme le «vol relatif» a été appelé «travail relatif» jusqu'en 1975.

OBS

Les termes «vol relatif» et «travail relatif» sont encore considérés des synonymes en Amérique francophone.

In order to obtain Grade 1 in individual Style(IS1) the parachutists must be introduced to IS by a CCI nominated IS1 Grade parachutist or equivalent of proven IS instruction ability, received a full brief for each descent(including Aircraft and Free fall emergencies) and has demonstrated the following :... a ’Full Series’ with precision in 16 seconds.
