Success of vortex theories in the performance analysis of horizontal axis wind turbines depends greatly upon accurate specification of the geometry of the vortex wake... An earlier wake model of helicopter rotors is extended for wind turbine applications, the fast free wake method(FFW). The FFW was accomplished by partitioning the flow field downstream of the rotor into three regions :(1) the near wake, modeled as a series of straight vortex lines;(2) the intermediate wake, modeled as a number of vortex rings; and(3) the far wake, taken to be a semi-infinite cylindrical wake. 3, record 1, English, - fast%20free%20wake%20method

Record number: 2, Textual support number: 1 CONT
There are two distinct ways in which a polymer support might affect the microenvironment surrounding an immobilized enzyme. The first may be considered to be a partitioning effect. By virtue of its own physical chemistry, the polymer may attract(or repel) substrate, product, inhibitor, or other molecules to its surface thus concentrating(or depleting) them in the immediate vicinity of the enzyme. The second way in which the polymer may affect the enzyme's microenvironment may be by presenting itself as a barrier to the free diffusion of molecules both to and from the enzyme. 3, record 2, English, - microenvironment

3, record 2, French, - microenvironnement

During the past several decades the coastal States of the world have been extending seaward their claims to jurisdiction over what has traditionally been recognized as the free seas. Claims have been both geographical, applied to specific maritime areas enclosed by boundaries, and functional, pertaining to certain competences such as control over fishing or drilling for hydrocarbons on the continental shelf. The net effect of these claims has been the gradual partitioning of nearly one-third of the global ocean into various types of maritime zones. The process of expanding maritime claims, sometimes termed "creeping jurisdiction" or "the ocean enclosure movement", may be approaching a temporary plateau. 1, record 7, English, - ocean%20enclosure%20movement

1, record 7, French, - mouvement%20exclusiviste
