Summer fallow is the practice of keeping land free of all vegetation throughout one season for the purpose of storing a part of the rainfall of that period in the soil for the use of crops the following year. Summer fallow has been practiced in various parts of the world for several centuries, and to a limited extent in some sections of western United States since the country was settled. It is a common practice in the light-rainfall sections of Canada and of the Pacific Northwest at the present time. 3, record 1, English, - cultivated%20summer%20fallow

In the period 1979-1985, the petroleum industry provides a unique test of the agency theory of corporate restructuring. Background material is provided on the industry's corporate restructuring, along with an elaboration of the free cash flow hypothesis that underlies the agency theory.... The exploration expenditure decision is specified as following from 3 models : a neoclassical investment model and pure and hybrid variants of free cash flow hypotheses.... The size of the parameter estimates implies that the free cash flow hypothesis does not fully explain the restructuring gains. 1, record 14, English, - free%20cash%20flow%20hypothesis

Luckily, the Federal government realizes the needs for graduate level study, that's why it suggests the Stafford Loans program in order to supply a diversity of graduate student loans. You should complete a free application for student assistance(FAFSA loan) and then make a decision which loan path to follow. Stafford graduate student loans are managed by the graduate schools to which you are appealing, but they are given by the government. One of the greatest benefits of Stafford graduate student loan is the fact that you will be permitted a half-year grace period that follows your graduation before you should begin your payments. If the government chooses your application, they supply you with a list of their accepted creditors. Only students who have not neglected on other loans are eligible for this kind of loan. If your income is too low, you may pretend to your graduate student loans financed by the government. It means that when you are entered in graduate school, you will not be accountable for the interest on your lend. If your income level is high enough, the interest on your loans will be joined to the principal which you should to pay off. 1, record 15, English, - Stafford%20Loans

This specification covers asphalt-saturated organic felt for use as an underlayment in steep slope roofing. The objective of this specification is to provide a finished product that will lie flat and resist wrinkling, puckering, and shrinking when left exposed to the sun, rain, frost, or dew for a period of two weeks after application. In the process of manufacture, a single thickness of organic dry felt shall be uniformly saturated with an asphaltic saturant and the felt shall be produced principally from organic fibers. The surface of the felt shall be uniform and relatively smooth and upon splitting or tearing on the bias, the felt shall appear free of lumps or particles of foreign substances. The material shall conform to the prescribed physical requirements such as tear strength, pliability, loss on heating, liquid water transmission, breaking strength, and dimensional stability, and to the specified dimension and mass requirements such as roll width, roll area, net mass of saturated felt, net mass of desaturated felt, saturation, moisture, and saturating efficiency. The finished product shall not crack nor be so sticky as to cause tearing or other damage upon being unrolled. 6, record 16, English, - asphalt%20saturated%20felt

2, record 29, Spanish, - Grupo%20de%20los%20Tres

The Common Effective Preferential Tariff(CEPT) is the main instrument for setting up an ASEAN Free Trade Area(AFTA) by the year 2003. The CEPT Scheme is an arrangement among ASEAN countries to reduce intra-regional tariffs and remove non-tariff barriers over a 10-year period beginning on 1 Jan 1993. The objective of the scheme is to reduce tariffs on eligible products to 0-5% by 2003. ASEAN comprises Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam. Laos and Myanmar had implemented the CEPT Scheme on 1 Jan 98. In this regard, both these countries will aim to reduce tariffs on eligible products to 0-5% by 2008. 1, record 30, English, - Common%20Effective%20Preferential%20Tariff
