Color can dramatically influence the flavor perception of food. Food technologists often use various colored lights in their tasting sessions to mask the color of the foods being taste-paneled so tasters will make their acceptability judgments based on flavor rather than color. One study dramatically illustrates the influence of color on food acceptability... In this study, panelists were offered a dinner of steak, peas and french fries abnormally colored but served under color-masked conditions. Panelists enjoyed the meals until normal lights were switched on. The appearance of blue steak, red peas and green french fries was so overwhelmingly objectionable to some of the panelists that they became ill. 2, record 3, English, - food%20acceptability

We have seen a number of name changes over the last 60 years as the words Blue Cross were becoming synonymous worldwide with quality health care coverage. We were founded as the Maritime Hospital Service Association in 1943 and became known as the Maritime Blue Cross-Blue Shield Association in 1954. We became Blue Cross of Atlantic Canada in 1986 and, when joined with Maritime Medical Care in 1999, the trade name Atlantic Blue Cross Care was adopted. Our expansion into the Quebec and Ontario markets led to the need for a new name that would encompass all three regions. We created the name "Medavie" because it decribes our business and works well in both our English and French markets. Medavie is derived from the English and French words for "medical" and "to life". We offer everything from medical to life insurance. 1, record 4, English, - Medavie%20Blue%20Cross

1, record 4, French, - Croix%20Bleue%20Medavie

It is classed among the greatest French cheeses and even protected by the strict Appellation Controlee laws to prevent frauds. Crottin de Chavignol is a small cheese, weighing between 5 and 2 oz, depending on the age. The cheese starts as a very white cheese and then turns yellow with a light blue mold and eventually brown(which is rarely seen in this country). As the cheese ages, it becomes increasingly sharp and pungent. Even when young though, it does not lack flavor. 2, record 5, English, - Crottin%20de%20Chavignol

2, record 5, French, - Crottin%20de%20Chavignol
