Numerous outbreaks associated with viral contamination of fresh fruits and vegetables have been reported worldwide over the last decade. Fresh produce can become contaminated with viruses through contact with human sewage or infected workers during primary production, harvest, post-harvest handling, processing, packaging, and distribution. Unlike bacteria, human enteric viruses cannot multiply in food, as they need to enter living human cells to replicate. However, they can remain viable in fruits and vegetables for extended periods of time, and may cause illness if ingested. 2, record 1, English, - viral%20contamination

2, record 1, French, - contamination%20virale

Ackee, akee or achee-Blinghia sapida-is a food staple in many Western Africa, Jamaican and Carribean diets. There are two main varieties, hard and soft ackees, that are available for consumption. Both canned and fresh forms of this fruit are consumed. However, unripe fruit contains natural toxins called hypoglycins that can cause serious health effects. 1, record 2, English, - hypoglycin

A floating flame is an indication that there is a lack of secondary air to the flame. In severe cases, the flame will leave the burner and have the appearance of a floating cloud. Again, the intermediate products of combustion are apt to escape from place to place wherever sufficient air for combustion may be found. This flame is sometimes hard to detect because, as the door to the equipment is opened sufficient air will be admitted to allow the flame to rest on the burner properly. However, the obnoxious odor of aldehydes may still be detected. Another possible cause of this flame is an improperly operating vent system. If the products of combustion cannot escape, fresh air cannot reach the flame 1, record 3, English, - floating%20flame
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 2 CONT
When a flame raises off the burner it is important to determine if it is a "lifting flame" or a "floating flame": "Lifting Flames" rise from the ports to burn some distance above the ports. In some cases these flames will drop back to the port and lift again intermittently. They are caused by too much primary air. Decreasing the shutter opening will stop lifting flames. "Floating Flames" are long and lazy looking, poorly defined, quiet flames which roll around the combustion chamber sometimes completely off the ports. Floating flames result from too little secondary or "make up" air. Lack of secondary air can be caused by incorrect venting, clogged flueways, blocked secondary air inlet openings, or lack of natural room makeup air to the oven. 2, record 3, English, - floating%20flame

Test for Special Form Radioactive Material.... Percussion test. The material is placed on a lead sheet which is supported by a smooth essentially unyielding surface and struck by the flat face of a steel billet so as to produce an impact equivalent to that resulting from a free fall of 1. 4 kg through 1 m. The flat face of the billet is 25 mm in diameter with the edges rounded off to a radius of 3 mm. The lead, of hardness number 3. 5 to 4. 5 on the Vickers scale and not more than 25 mm thick, covers an area greater than that covered by the material. A fresh surface of lead is used for each impact. The billet strikes the material so as to cause maximum damage. 1, record 5, English, - percussion%20test

1, record 5, French, - %C3%A9preuve%20de%20percussion
