"Pickling" refers to cucumbers that are primarily used for processing or pickling. Pickling cucumbers have thin skins, are short and blocky, and usually have a color gradient from dark green at the stem end to light green at the blossom end. In addition, a pickling cucumber fruit has a whiter or lighter green belly (where fruit and soil are in contact) than does a slicing cucumber. 3, record 3, English, - pickling%20cucumber
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Cucumbers can be pickled for flavor and longer shelf-life. As compared to eating cucumbers, pickling cucumbers tend to be shorter, thicker, less regularly-shaped, and have bumpy skin with tiny white- or black-dotted spines. They are never waxed. Color can vary from creamy yellow to pale or dark green. Pickling cucumbers are sometimes sold fresh as “Kirby” or “Liberty” cucumbers. 4, record 3, English, - pickling%20cucumber

2, record 6, French, - allocation%20de%20suppl%C3%A9ment%20de%20RIC

The Concord grape originated in 1854 and was discovered by E. W. Bull. The berries have a heavy wax bloom with blue skin and pale green flesh. Berry and bunch size is medium with a somewhat compact conical cluster shape. The Concord's skin is reasonably durable and separates easily from its pulpy flesh. Its primary use is for juice and jam/jelly preserves, and for fresh market consumption. Many years ago, the Concord was used in port wines but that is no longer acceptable for premium wine production in Ontario. 1, record 7, English, - Concord%20grape

The first six items of the Code relate to primary prevention : no smoking, moderate alcohol intake, no excessive exposure to sunlight, respect safety instructions, regular consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as high-fiber foods, and avoid excessive body weight. The last four items concern secondary prevention. They recommend to see a physician in the case of a changing beauty spot, an appearing nodule, an abnormal blood loss, a persistent cough or hoarse voice, a persistent stool change or an unexplained loss of body weight. Women are advised to examine their breast regularly, to have a smear of the cervix uteri periodically, and to have mammographies taken as from the age of 50. 1, record 10, English, - European%20cancer%20code
