SIGMA City is an intranet site based on the concept of a virtual city created to represent the transformation towards the SIGMA solution. This virtual city and the other facilitation tools implemented by the Financial Systems Transformation(FST) Project team will enable you to better understand the objectives that the Department hopes to meet by introducing the SIGMA solution at Public Works and Government Services Canada(PWGSC). The purpose of SIGMA City, like that of the SIGMA solution itself, is to improve information sharing and foster a new co-operation among the members of the community, in order to facilitate the Department's transition from the old business processes to new, integrated processes.
