The meter per second is the derived unit of speed in the International System of Units(SI). The meter per second(m/s) is equal to 3. 6 kilometers per hour(km/h), or about 2. 236936 miles per hour(mph), or 3. 28084 feet per second(ft/s), or 39. 370079 inches per second(in/s) or 1. 943844 knots(kn).
