The Materiel and Assets Management Directorate(MAMD) provides leadership, management services and functional direction to Health Canada's materiel management community in support of program activities. These services include : procurement and contracting; the provision of a Contract, Requisition and Reporting System and related controls and approval processes; fleet management; assets management and inventory control; investment planning; and, materiel policy development and training, as well as contract and asset data reporting. MAMD is responsible for providing leadership in the development and implementation of accountability and process initiatives emanating from central agencies that affect contract and assets management in Health Canada. La Direction de la gestion du matériel et des biens (DGMB) assure un leadership et fournit des services de gestion et une orientation fonctionnelle aux responsables de l'approvisionnement de Santé Canada afin de les aider dans leurs activités. Aircraft refuelling and defuelling is controlled by a separate subsystem within the overall fuel system. The aircraft is fuelled by means of a refuelling receptacle that connects to the refuelling tanker. From the receptacle it enters a refuelling gallery which distributes the incoming fuel to the various aircraft tanks.
