Pyrometallurgical processes … the challenge lies in the full separation, and full recovery, in terms of quantity, of actinides from the salt bath, upstream of refabrication. The process affording the highest potential, as regards carrying out this operation, is reductive chemical extraction by means of a molten metal. One binary system of interest, for such separation, is the aluminum–fluoride system : LiF–AlF3/Al–Cu(high selectivity with regard to extraction of actinides, compared with fission products, high actinide solubility in aluminum…). 1, record 2, English, - reductive%20chemical%20extraction

1, record 2, French, - extraction%20r%C3%A9ductrice%20chimique

Direct dyes : A class of dyestuffs that are applied directly to the substrate in a neutral or alkaline bath. They produce full shades on cotton and linen without mordancing and can also be applied to rayon, silk, and wool. Direct dyes give bright shades but exhibit poor washfastness. Various aftertreatments are used to improve the washfastness of direct dyes, and such dyes are referred to as "aftertreated direct colors". 1, record 3, English, - aftertreated%20direct%20color
