Combat service support command relationship used when the nature of the operation makes a complete transfer of administrative command impossible or uneconomical because of time, distance, or resources. The function(s) not transferred will be stated(eg, "personnel administration"). The gaining commander has full authority and responsibility for all other service support activities. Exclusion of a function does not preclude the gaining unit or formation from providing advice or, in an emergency, support in the excluded activity. Otherwise the parent unit or formation must provide support in the area of the excluded function. 2, record 1, English, - under%20command%20for%20administration%20less%2E%2E%2E

The Brandon Humane Society has been in operation since 1946 when it was founded by Eleanor Kidd. She originally housed the shelter in her garage on 13th Street, then in an abandoned stable near Empress Bay, and later in an old barn near the riverbank where Eleanor Kidd Gardens are now located. In 1997, the shelter moved to its new premises at 2200 17th Street East. These days, our residents-both cats and dogs-live in a comfortable building with heat and air conditioning, two large exercise yards, an enclosed cat patio, and enough kennels for 20 cats and 13 dogs. When our kennels are full, our dedicated volunteers foster animals in their own homes. Since this is a no-kill shelter, the atmosphere is very positive... our animals are loved and well cared for as they wait to be adopted. We invite you to come visit us and see for yourself! Our Mandate. The Brandon Humane Society's constitution states that the Society :-has the primary purpose of providing aid and assistance to companion animals,-will accept unwanted companion animals into the shelter when space is available,-will make every effort to find homes for animals in our care,-and will educate the public on companion animal needs, especially the importance of sterilization. 3, record 8, English, - Brandon%20Humane%20Society

Airfoil blade fans... are the most efficient of all centrifugal fans. These fans are most applicable to large systems where the energy saving owing to their high efficiency offsets their relatively high cost. The blades, which usually number ten to sixteen on the impeller, are contoured to react like an airplane wing. Airfoil fans produce extremely smooth flows and, for a given use, are the highest speed centrifugal fans. These fans have stable operation and low noise level over their full range. Airfoil blades are expensive to produce and repair, limiting their use to clean, nonabrasive gases. The construction of the scroll, the close internal clearances, and the precise alignment of the impeller and inlet bell are features which aid in attaining the high efficiencies of these fans. 3, record 18, English, - airfoil%20fan

Les débits s'écoulant de ces ventilateurs sont très uniformes et, pour une application donnée, les ventilateurs centrifuges opèrent à haute vitesse. Pyrometallurgical processes … the challenge lies in the full separation, and full recovery, in terms of quantity, of actinides from the salt bath, upstream of refabrication. One binary system of interest, for such separation, is the aluminum–fluoride system : LiF–AlF3/Al–Cu(high selectivity with regard to extraction of actinides, compared with fission products, high actinide solubility in aluminum…). 1, record 20, English, - reductive%20chemical%20extraction

Each of the two hydraulic systems for the Douglas DC-9 airplane is provided with an auxiliary, electrically driven, variable-displacement hydraulic pump. The pumps are explosion-resistant, hydraulic-fluid-cooled and lubricated, self-supercharged, and pressure-and horsepower-controlled. They are capable of supplying a nonpulsating flow of hydraulic fluid in varying volume, depending upon system pressure... Control of the pumps is accomplished by means of switches in the flight compartment. If one engine should stop or if the hydraulic pump on that engine should fail, it is merely necessary to turn on the electric pump switch to place the system back in full operation. Each pump is connected to its respective system by means of flexible hoses with a ground power suction disconnect fitting installed in the suction line. Electrical Integration is a vital part of Assembly, Integration & Testing(AIT) process of spacecraft, which plays its role from Layout Design till Launch. AIT is the process in which the satellite subsystems are integrated in a predetermined sequence, performance and interface checks carried out to arrive at a complete spacecraft in full configuration. At launch site, the spacecraft will go through different phases of assembly and testing as per pre-launch operation plan before being cleared for launch. 2, record 40, English, - assembly%2C%20integration%20and%20testing

An experimental system that uses off-the-shelf microcomputers in a triplicated configuration with voting to achieve reliability with both permanent and transient faults. This system was designed at Carnegie-Mellon University by Siewiorek et al. to provide reliable real time computing with software transparency to the fault tolerant aspects of the system. The basic design is modular, and it includes power distribution so that parts of the system can be serviced while the rest of the system is in operation. The processors are each DEC LSI-IIs with voting Logic, which votes on all processor accesses to the bus. The system can also operate with each processor working separately and interprocessor communications taking place via the full duplex single-word parallel interfaces. 1, record 60, English, - Computer%20Voted%20Multiprocessor
