The Human Resources Council(HRC) was founded in 1992 as the Personnel Renewal Council(PRC), to be a strong voice for Heads of Human Resources and the HR community on issues affecting the strategic direction of HR management in the Public Service. The PRC changed its name to the Human Resources Council in November 1998. The HRC will continue to strengthen its current role as an independent strategic advisor. Specifically, the HRC will work to influence the direction of, and provide support to, the Central Agencies on the development of HR policy and the development of the HR Community on major issues of concern.
