The Human Resources Management Modernization Branch(HRMM) was established in April 2004, as an organization within the Public Service Human Resources Management Agency of Canada(PSHRMAC), the new central agency whose core business, purpose and focus is to improve the management of people, and of leadership, in the public service of Canada. In this context the HRMM branch plays a critical role within the Agency and across government for managing the transition to a reformed HR system, and its associated performance measurement regime. The HRMM branch is accountable for providing leadership and oversight over a broad range of functional areas, with primary responsibility for the implementation of the Public Service Modernization Act(PSMA), leading the ongoing Classification reform process, aligning Employment policies and developing the HR dimension of the CASS initiative. In summary, the HRMM branch and its Executive team provide the visible face of HR reform to key stakeholders and the HR community across government. 1, record 3, English, - Human%20Resources%20Management%20Modernization%20Branch

1, record 3, French, - Direction%20de%20la%20modernisation%20de%20la%20gestion%20des%20ressources%20humaines

Brain reading uses the responses of multiple voxels in the brain evoked by stimulus then detected by fMRI [functional magnetic resonance imaging] in order to decode the original stimulus. Brain reading studies differ in the type of decoding(i. e. classification, identification and reconstruction) employed, the target(i. e. decoding visual patterns, auditory patterns, cognitive states), and the decoding algorithms(linear classification, nonlinear classification, direct reconstruction, Bayesian reconstruction, etc.) employed. 1, record 4, English, - brain%20reading

Among the physically challenged athletes, there are classification systems developed to remove bias based on innate level of function. These systems have considered classification based on medical diagnosis alone, functional ability, and a hybrid model considering issues of function and the medical diagnosis. These systems attempt to place persons with a particular impairment on equal functional terms with other competitors. 2, record 6, English, - classification%20system
