The Materiel and Assets Management Directorate(MAMD) provides leadership, management services and functional direction to Health Canada's materiel management community in support of program activities. These services include : procurement and contracting; the provision of a Contract, Requisition and Reporting System and related controls and approval processes; fleet management; assets management and inventory control; investment planning; and, materiel policy development and training, as well as contract and asset data reporting. La Direction de la gestion du matériel et des biens (DGMB) assure un leadership et fournit des services de gestion et une orientation fonctionnelle aux responsables de l'approvisionnement de Santé Canada afin de les aider dans leurs activités. The Human Resources Management Modernization Branch(HRMM) was established in April 2004, as an organization within the Public Service Human Resources Management Agency of Canada(PSHRMAC), the new central agency whose core business, purpose and focus is to improve the management of people, and of leadership, in the public service of Canada.
