Health Canada. A new medication incident reporting and prevention system now in the design stages will strengthen the Canadian healthcare system's capacity to report, analyse and manage medication incident data on a national basis, while mounting comprehensive prevention and education programs for healthcare practitioners. Canadian Medication Incident Reporting and Prevention System(CMIRPS) will provide a secure database that can collect and analyse incident reports while supporting risk assessment, prevention and education programs. Santé Canada. Le nouveau système de déclaration et de prévention des incidents médicamenteux actuellement en conception renforcera la capacité du système de santé du Canada de déclarer, d'analyser et de gérer les données sur les incidents médicamenteux à l'échelon national tout en lançant des programmes intégrés de prévention et d'éducation à l'intention des praticiens de la santé. University of the Arctic was formally launched in Rovaniemi, Finland in June 2001. More than 25 Canadian institutions participate in the U Arctic. [It is] funded by governments and individual educational institutions... uses both distance delivery and classroom settings to deliver courses. [This] "university without walls" is a partnership of northern colleges, universities, Indigenous organizations, and governments. It has been designed to address the educational and training needs of northern peoples.. It combines the most advanced developments in the field of distance education with traditional knowledge that has been passed down from generation to generation among the Indigenous peoples of the Arctic.
