FURTIVE AIRCRAFT [1 record]

Record 1 2001-06-04

English

Subject field(s)
  • Air Transport
  • Aerodynamics and Theory of Gases
OBS

Aerodynamism. When a manufacturer creates a new aircraft, he particularly wants to decrease its trail, in order to decrease its kerosene consumption, or to make it furtive(nearly invisible for radars) for military airplanes. For that, he must give his aircraft the most aerodynamic possible shape, it means that the aircraft must sustain the least friction against the air fields.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Transport aérien
  • Théorie des gaz et aérodynamique
DEF
