These power systems will store solar energy in a thermal energy salt such as lithium fluoride(in TES-1) or lithium fluoride calcium difloride(in TES-2). The energy is stored as the latent heat of fusion when the salt is melted by absorbing solar thermal energy. The stored energy is extracted during the shade portion of the orbit. This enables the solar dynamic power system to provide constant electrical power over the entire orbit. 2, record 1, English, - solar%20dynamic%20power%20system

A simplified sketch of a typical black liquor flow sequence on a recovery unit with direct-contact evaporator and wet-bottom precipitator is shown in Figure 10-25. The strong black liquor from storage first goes to the bottom of the precipitator where it "picks up" the chemical particulates ... dropped from the electrodes. (If the precipitator is a "dry bottom" type, a series of screw conveyors or scraper-chain conveyors moves the material into the chemical ash tank.) Next, the liquor is pumped to the direct-contact evaporator where the solids concentration increases from both evaporation and further pickup of dust from the contacted gases. 1, record 2, English, - wet%2Dbottom%20precipitator
