Record number: 7, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Reasons for hoarding include fear of a future shortage and expectation of a future rise in the price of the goods or in the money hoarded. In monetary theory, hoarding is considered to be any part of savings which is not used for investment. Thus, hoarding is a leakage in the income stream, taking money out of circulation and reducing total income. The larger the proportion of income hoarded in the form of money, the more slowly money turns over. The velocity of money in circulation varies inversely with the rate of hoarding. 2, record 7, English, - hoarding

Ce placement non rémunéré, mais qui peut être aisément transformé en moyens de paiement, est pour son détenteur un moyen de conservation discutable en période calme, mais par contre susceptible de plus-values importantes dans les périodes troubles. "Contract" is sometimes used in a sense similar to that of "agreement" in its primary sense, namely, the common intention of two persons with regard to a certain subject. Thus, the phrase "contract of sale" frequently denotes the ordinary transaction of A delivering goods to B and B paying the price to A at the same instant. This is a sale, rather than a contract of sale, for "contract" usually implies a promise to be performed at a future time.(Jowitt, p. 450) 1, record 19, English, - contract%20of%20sale

From its creation by the Second Committee of the UN General Assembly in 1993 until 2000, it was held on December 29 to celebrate the day the Convention on Biological Diversity went into effect. In December of 2000, the date was shifted to commemorate the adoption of the Convention on May 22, 1992 at the Rio Earth Summit, partly to avoid the many other holidays that occur in late December. 4, record 24, English, - International%20Day%20for%20Biological%20Diversity

There is one class of goods, it seems, in respect of which there may be a sale even though they are not existing at the time of the contract. The legal property in such goods can pass to the buyer without any need to conform to the provisions of the Act relating to the transfer of property. Such goods are those which have "potential existence". The distinction existed at common law between future goods to be manufactured or acquired by the seller, the position with respect to which has been considered above, and future goods in which the seller had what was called "a potential property". Such goods comprehended things which were the natural produce or expected increase of something already owned or possessed by the seller, for example, hay to be grown in a field, wool to be grown on sheep owned by the seller, or milk to be yielded by the seller's cows in the coming month. 1, record 27, English, - potential%20property
