In the world of investing, anchoring bias manifests when investors rely heavily on initial information, such as past performance or a specific price, when making decision. Record number: 8, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Reasons for hoarding include fear of a future shortage and expectation of a future rise in the price of the goods or in the money hoarded. In monetary theory, hoarding is considered to be any part of savings which is not used for investment. Thus, hoarding is a leakage in the income stream, taking money out of circulation and reducing total income. The larger the proportion of income hoarded in the form of money, the more slowly money turns over. The velocity of money in circulation varies inversely with the rate of hoarding. 2, record 8, English, - hoarding

"Contract" is sometimes used in a sense similar to that of "agreement" in its primary sense, namely, the common intention of two persons with regard to a certain subject. Thus, the phrase "contract of sale" frequently denotes the ordinary transaction of A delivering goods to B and B paying the price to A at the same instant. This is a sale, rather than a contract of sale, for "contract" usually implies a promise to be performed at a future time.(Jowitt, p. 450) 1, record 16, English, - contract%20of%20sale

A technical indicator is a series of data points that are derived by applying a formula to the price data of a security. Price data includes any combination of the open, high, low or close over a period of time. Some indicators may use only the closing prices, while others incorporate volume and open interest into their formulas. The price data is entered into the formula and a data point is produced. For example, the average of 3 closing prices is one data point ((41+43+43) / 3 = 42.33) ... A series of data points over a period of time is required to create valid reference points to enable analysis. By creating a time series of data points, a comparison can be made between present and past levels. For analysis purposes, technical indicators are usually shown in a graphical form above or below a security’s price chart. Once shown in graphical form, an indicator can then be compared with the corresponding price chart of the security. 2, record 22, English, - technical%20indicator

2, record 51, French, - march%C3%A9%20des%20options%20sur%20obligations

In the late 1930s, the theory was advanced that it is impossible to predict future movements of securities prices because too many variables affect price movements. However, it was observed that bond prices tended to move in the opposite direction to common stock prices. Thus a plan was evolved by which the investor automatically sold stocks and bought bonds when stock prices rose and vice versa when stock prices fell. This plan was first called the cyclical switch. 2, record 52, English, - cyclical%20switch

Split Equity Contract similar to the en viager method used in France, involves the actual sale of the property by the homeowner. There is no mortgage. The homeowner retains the right to rent-free occupancy for a specified number of years or life. The purchase price would be determined by the expected future value of the property discounted by its rent-free use, interest, and the specific or expected time lapse before actual possession. This could be a life mortality consideration. The proceeds of the sale could be invested to yield income or, alternatively, used to buy a Life Annuity from an insurance company. 2, record 54, English, - split%20equity%20contract

Because the forward price of foreign exchange is in general equal to the price expected in the future plus a risk premium, we tested the joint hypothesis known as the "speculative efficiency hypothesis" which states that :(i) markets are efficient;(ii) risk premiums are constant; and(iii) transactions costs are negligible. It should be noted that it is not possible to test condition(i) alone. 1, record 55, English, - speculative%20efficiency%20hypothesis
